Covid-19 Guidelines update

The UK Government have updated the guidelines and this update will come into force on Monday 14th September 2020.



Due to cases rising especially in the

20 - 29 age group the Government have introduced new restrictions.


  • You will not be able to meet in groups of more than 6 people indoors or outdoors.

  • Bars, Pubs and Restaurants be required by law to collect and hold customer contact details for 21 days.




The police will be able to enforce these legal limits, and if you break them you could face a fine (fixed penalty notice) of £100, doubling for further breaches up to a maximum of £3,200.


There will be exceptions for the following which is relevant to the Childcare Industry.

  • Training, Education and Registered Childcare (including wraparound care)

  • Children’s playgroups etc

  • Youth groups or activities

  • Formal childcare provided by a registered provider. Family and friends can also provide informal childcare as long as groups from different households don’t exceed 6 people.



You should continue to maintain Social distancing, wash hands regularly and wear a mask.

If you are applying for a role you need to inform us if you have travelled out of the UK in the past 14 days.
