DBS
Everyone registering with us must already have or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS.
We are able to apply for a DBS on your behalf when you register with us.
The online disclosure usually comes back within a week but can take up to 8 weeks.
The DBS now also offers an update service, for a yearly fee of £13. When you apply for your next DBS we strongly suggest you do this. It means that you can give any future employer or Nanny Agency your permission to carry out an online status check by showing your certificate and providing your certificate number, your name and date of birth. This status check will allow potential Employers to see if any information has changed since the original disclosure.
Using the update service will save you time and money when looking for employment.
Ofsted Registration
It is not a legal requirement for Nannies to be on the Ofsted Childcare Register however if parents wish to use the Tax Free Childcare scheme they will need to become registered.
The Nanny will need to register as a Home Childcarer and will need the following:

a recognised childcare qualification
